Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Olawoye treats and  manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. “O” practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to minor corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our office is a paperless completely digital office using the latest HIPPA compliant practice management software. The office is also equipped with the latest Cone Beam CT scan technology and implant planning software. This ensures that Dr. Olawoye can perform guided minimally invasive surgery to place  single or multiple dental implants in a safe and predictable manner.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.  Very young patients can safely be sedated using a needle -less inhalation anesthesia technique , thus avoiding the anxiety that comes from getting a ” shot”.
