INSURANCE INFORMATION

At Hunterdon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Specialists, we are committed to delivering exceptional care while helping you navigate your insurance benefits with clarity and ease. We accept most dental PPO insurance plans and work with
out-of-network benefits to help you maximize your available coverage.

Our experienced team is here to guide you through the process by reviewing your benefits, submitting claims on your behalf, and answering any questions you may have.

We are in-network with select dental insurance plans, including:

  • Delta Dental
  • Horizon Dental (Traditional)
  • FEP Blue Dental

We also work with major insurance carriers such as United Healthcare, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, Manhattan Life, which may utilize the Careington fee schedule depending on your specific plan.

We are out-of-network with certain insurance providers, including but not limited to Aetna, MetLife, and Guardian. Patients with these plans are welcome to receive care in our office, and we will submit claims on your behalf. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may still receive reimbursement directly from your insurance provider.

Please note that insurance carriers often offer multiple plans within the same network. Coverage, eligibility, and reimbursement levels can vary significantly based on your individual policy.

We do not participate with Medicaid, DMO, or DHMO plans.

Certain oral and maxillofacial procedures may be eligible for coverage under your medical insurance. While our office is out-of-network with medical insurance plans, we will submit claims on your behalf to help maximize any available out-of-network benefits. Coverage and reimbursement are determined solely by your insurance provider.

Due to the complexity and variability of insurance plans, benefit estimates are not guaranteed. Patients are responsible for any portion of treatment not covered by insurance.
