Course Description:
With mainstreaming of CBCT’s, Intra-oral scanning, advances in software integration, and laboratory milling and printing, planning and delivery of dental implants and prosthetics reduce traditional frustrations often met by clinicians and ultimately their patients. Understanding these applications also help educate patients towards treatment acceptance. Additionally, studies indicate a reduction in overall cost of care with the digital process. It is eminent that dentists merge clinical skills with the advantages of technology as patients will be expecting this integration in their care found commonly in their medical care.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Anthony Sallustio has been practicing prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics in central and northern New Jersey since 1997. He devotes his professional time to private practice, hospital-based dentistry, and dental education. After completing a degree in Biology at Seton Hall University, he attended the State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine. A four-year postgraduate training followed to complete his prosthodontic, maxillofacial prosthetics, and dental oncology specialties.

- Merging of data from CBCT and IOS into software planning and production of surgical guides
- Understand diagnostic capabilities from IOS
- Fabrication of prosthetics on implants with scanning: “Are we there yet?”
